Florida gives ecommerce brands unusual flexibility because it sits near major ports, international freight lanes, and dense population centers. That makes it attractive for importers, FBA sellers, and brands needing flexible storage plus prep support.
When comparing 3PL options, break the evaluation into four parts: receiving discipline, prep accuracy, outbound shipping, and communication. Plenty of warehouses can store cartons. Far fewer can process exceptions cleanly.
For marketplace sellers, prep deserves extra attention. Barcode accuracy, packaging rules, poly bagging, bundling, and carton labeling can all affect whether inventory is accepted once it leaves the warehouse.
A good Florida 3PL should be honest about what is custom work. Port pickup, relabeling, pallet changes, and long-stay inventory are usually separate problems, and pricing should reflect that.
